The state of the world at the moment is not exactly what anyone had planned for their summer. Sure, we all wanted to spend more time with our families, but maybe not like this. Being inside during the summer months used to just be about escaping the heat. Now, it's about escaping a pandemic AND the heat. What a plot twist, am I right? Being stuck inside has, however, caused many of us to re-evaluate our homes. Our team at Advanced Window Fashions has been zooming about this all month, and we have come to the conclusion that if you are going to take stock in your home, you should definitely consider switching to Hunter Douglas’s Duette® Honeycomb Shades. These cellular shades are perfect for keeping your home as cool and frugal as possible during these uncertain times.
In the summer months, AC is your best friend and your greatest enemy. That bill coming in is beyond scary for most individuals. It is always higher than you expect, and yet, you can’t really avoid it. The only alternative is turning the AC off, and quickly sympathizing with a snow cone in the hot sun. Recently it was found that 50% of your home's energy is lost through your window treatments. Fifty percent! That’s so not cool. The greatest solution is to change up your window coverings to Duette® Honeycomb Shades from Hunter Douglas.
